FNHA Annual Meeting 2020 Poster
Please join us for the FNHA Annual Meeting on Sunday, February 16th in the Chillin’ Room of the Ozark Mountain Smokehouse located at 1725 Smokehouse Trail. This event is free, open to the public, and all ages are welcome! Refreshments will be available.
Dr. JD Willson, herpetology expert and Associate Professor at the University of Arkansas, will discuss the work he and his students are conducting on herbs during his talk, “Discovering Northwest Arkansas’ ‘Hidden Diversity’ of Amphibians and Reptiles.”
After Dr. Willson’s talk, the Northwest Arkansas Land Trust’s Kessler Classroom will be open for tours, so bring the kids! Frank Sharp has also offered to lead a guided tour to Rock City after the talk so also wear your hiking boots!
Schedule of events:
- 3pm – 3:30pm – Welcome + FNHA business
- 3:30pm – 4:45pm – Dr. Wilson’s talk
- 4:45pm – 5:15pm – Kessler Classroom open
- 5:00pm – Rock City hike led by Frank Sharp
